In 2023, a seasoned veteran and a rookie teamed up to put South Africa’s newest homegrown mountain bike, the Signal Spectre, through the ultimate test for any mountain biker and their equipment – the Absa Cape Epic.
Reaching the finish line on the fields of Val de Vie, Team Signal Racing's Oli Munnik and Rogan Smart endured 8 days of intense racing to conquer the demanding eight-day race in 36th on GC and 2nd overall in the newly established Working Class Heroes category.
